Born in Zermatt, the Anthamatten brothers are exceptional mountaineers. All three trained guides, they have climbed the highest peaks in the world alongside the greatest. The elder of the three brothers, Simon, the extreme mountaineer, became a helicopter pilot with Air-Zermatt shortly after the death of his friends Ueli Steck and Hansjörg Auer. Martin is a world-class ski-mountaineer and trail champion while Sam, a pro freerider, keeps pushing the limits of extreme skiing always a little further with Jérémie Heitz. Through this portrait of a die-hard mountaineering brotherhood whose achievements are now legendary, this documentary explores mountaineering as an ecosystem, a passion and a way of life.
