C'est l’histoire d’un homme qui aura mis 40 ans à construire de ses mains un magnifique voilier de 17 mètres. Un rêve d’enfant que Raymond Jaunin entretient des années durant, entre la Suisse et Majorque, peaufinant ses plans, ses réalisations et un potentiel tour du monde. Des années de labeur acharné et une séparation provoquent l'interruption du chantier durant des décennies. À 78 ans, Raymond décide de reprendre les travaux, mais les obstacles s’accumulent. Après la pandémie, il surmonte un AVC et doit même vendre sa maison pour terminer son bateau ! It took Raymond Jaunin 40 years to complete the magnificent 17-meter sailboat he built with his own hands. Between Switzerland and Majorca, he kept his childhood dream alive for years, refining his plans, his achievements and a potential round-the-world trip. But too much work and a separation gained the upper hand. As a result, the shipyard froze for decades. At 78 of age, Raymond decided to resume the work, but the obstacles kept piling up. Following the pandemic, he overcame a stroke and even had to sell his house to finish his boat.
