Marie-Thé and Etienne Roux are teachers from the Valais region of Switzerland and both share the same passion for photography.  After having travelled extensively throughout the Valais in search of ancestral traditions, they headed for China and its many ethnic minorities. A moving journey to meet the unknown people of China.  Passe-moi les Jumelles followed them during their last excursion. In the provinces of the southwest, among the Dongs and the Miaos, they created close ties with the inhabitants and photographed their customs, some of them very close to those of their Valais home.
