Esther Larios Wiget did not intend to be a mountain guide. Encouraged by her brother, she moved forward down this path in her twenties. Today, extreme long-distance tours are no longer part of her daily routine. She's become a different kind of guide, introducing derelict youngsters to mountaineering.
