Who are the people who make it possible for us to enjoy the mountains to the full? Based on the successful "Dîner à la ferme" format, "Gens d'hiver" introduces 7 mountain professionals to their professions in an unusual location of their choice. Their aim? To show the pleasures, constraints and behind-the-scenes aspects of their jobs. But also to delight their guests' taste buds in an exceptional setting, around a simple, authentic and universal dish: soup. At the end of the seven episodes, they'll vote together for their favorite host. Each 47-minute episode immerses viewers in the daily lives of these 7 mountain addicts: a ski patroller, a field hockey photographer, a musher, a snow-clearing manager, the owner of a small ski resort, a ski teacher and a groomer. Or how to combine mountains, rustic gastronomy and traditions in an instructive family entertainment format.
