Bandoneon, Whispering Bellows
This musician's story mirrors the instrument he plays, the bandoneon, and the musical genre now associated with his name: the tango. Seven years ago, Alain left everything to live in the Buenos Aires' Barrio Norte . Every evening, together with another expatriate guitarist, he brings small local venues a taste of authentic tango, whose notes of exile, passion and nostalgia are reminiscent of his aunt's scent. She immigrated to Argentina for love in the 1940s and still loves how the passionate rhythms of tango echo in the Argentinian night air.
