Grande Dixence: In The Entrails Of The Beast
The Grande Dixence is the world's highest dam. A 15-million ton behemoth built in the 1950s, thedam rises above more than 100 kilometres ofgalleries dug into the mountainside as far awayas the Zermatt Valley, channeling 400 millioncubic metres of water to the Lac des Dix.
