Riding Cows Rather Than Milking Them
For Anne Wiltafsky, cows are more than just a source of milk and meat. For over ten years she's directed a unique centre, in Switzerland, where cows learn to climb stairs, pull a sled or run an obstacle course. Initially, she just wanted to give a second chance to animals headed for the slaughterhouse, and she rejects claims that she's turning the cows into circus performers.
