Putin's Ukrainian Female POWs
What is detention like for Ukrainian POWs in Putin’s jails? We've met three young women in their thirties, all soldiers in the Azov batailion of the Ukrainian army, who had to surrender when Marioupol fell. They spent almost a year in Russian jails. Now freed, they recount the horror of Putin's military prisons. 28 of them were crammed into a 6-bed cell where they couldn't see the light of day and they had to sleep on the floor. The young women tell us the psychological and physical abuse perpetrated by other women they suffered in Olenivka and Taganrog.
