The Sweeper And The Rose
Michel Simonet made the choice to become a street sweeper by vocation. The literary man opted to keep a clear head with an undeniably useful trade. Wearing the traditional head-to-toe orange uniform of street sweepers, he walks the streets of Fribourg, a red rose attached to his cart. He wrote his daily literary adventure in his book "A rose and a broom", wishing to bring poetry into the heart of street cleaning.
