With The Survivors Of Gaza
In the heart of Gaza, our cameras followed Jibril, Rami, and Mahmoud, three Gazans trying to survive in spite of the genocide perpetrated by Israel. After two years of intense fighting and bloodshed, each of them has lost loved ones. Hundreds of thousands of families have been left high and dry, now surviving in tents. Others, like Fadel, have managed to flee to Europe. For those in exile, life is in sync with the daily conversations they have with their relatives. On the other side, Israeli orthodox settlers from Nachala, led by Daniella Weiss, are chomping at the bit to settle on Palestinian lands seized by force. For all parties, the October 9th peace agreement is a historic moment, even though a mixed bag. The Gazans are mainly celebrating that they've lived to tell the tale, while the Israelis bear the indelible mark of the October 7th trauma.
