Lewis, Island Of Wind And Heart
A portrait of Scottish Isle of Lewis, its wild and powerful landscapes, and its Gaelic-speaking inhabitants, located at the isolated end of the Hebrides archipelago. Beyond Lewis Island, there is nothing, nothing but the immensity Atlantic. It is an isolated island in the north of Scotland, constantly swept by the bitter winds of the open sea and crossed by valleys of peat and heather repeating itself to infinity. Lochs and innumerable ponds give off a fascinating beauty. The sea and this rugged nature have marked for centuries the life of the few inhabitants who cling to their moorlands. Speaking again Gaelic, these Scots devote to their island a strong and strange bond, which forces them to leave to return there better. Watch the full English version HERE!
