The Grape Keeper, Ancient Wines Of Valais
Josef-Marie Chanton, known as Chosy, is a trailblazing winemaker who has dedicated himself to preserving ancient indigenous grape varieties, which he has been cultivating for 50 years in his vineyard in the Upper Valais, Switzerland. Thanks to his tireless efforts, rare vines like Himbertscha, Heida, and Lafnetscha have been brought back from the brink of extinction and now allow us to rediscover wines that are truly one of a kind.
