This documentary is an immersion into a day care center for young autistic people, the Foyer de Lausanne. Autism is not a disease but a neurodevelopmental disorder. Because of its broad spectrum, autism can be challenging to manage, especially since there has been a recent increase in the diagnoses cases of complex autism cas. Teachers and specialized educators, speech therapists and psychiatrists are attentive to the smallest details and strive to create connections with young autistic people. But depending on the age of the children, teenagers and young adults concerned, crises and violence can be very present on a daily basis. Between passion for their work and discouragement, professionals must be constantly on high alert.
